The JENEsys® Intelligent Building Operating System is streamlining all areas: building operation, maintenance management, energy management, and facility usage and technology management, and addresses these challenges by delivering a proven solution for interoperability and efficiency whether it is a small or large institution or campus environment.

Incorporated into a single control station, the JENEsys Intelligent Building Operating System connects, integrates, and correlates data from facility equipment, systems, and edge devices, and enables facility personnel and operators to adopt a converged and common platform to achieve integration and operational efficiencies between multiple building systems and devices. It provides facility personnel and operators with an operating system from which to manage and understand how their buildings are performing and manage energy with a common user interface to all systems, devices, data, and management tools.

JENEsys Edge® 414 IP Controller

The JENEsys Edge® 414 is a Niagara 4, IP Programmable Controller with 14 IO points on board. The controller is ideal for terminal equipment control that requires minimal integration with third-party products (max 3) and minimal points of control (max 50).

The JENEsys Edge 414 allows users to maximize their investment in Niagara and make use of a single layer/one platform, IP architecture across the entire building for real-time access and control.

JENESYS EDGE® VAV IP CONTROLLER

The JENEsys Edge®  VAV is the industry’s first IP-based, variable air volume controller developed and built utilizing the Niagara Framework®. Built on Lynxspring’s extensible Onyxx® IP hardware platform, Helixx® operating system, and Niagara 4 with a 50-point 3-device license, the JENEsys Edge VAV enables users to utilize Niagara ProBuilder/Workbench software, Niagara programming tools, and the FOX Protocol for easy setup, programming, commissioning, and control.

The device, when combined with other JENEsys Edge devices, further leverages and interconnects with Lynxspring’s horizontal, Niagara IP architecture and topology.

JENEsys Edge® 534 with Monnit®

The latest evolution of Lynxspring’s Edge Enabled™ portfolio of embedded controllers, gateways, and expansion modules, the JENEsys Edge® 534 with Monnit®, brings together a native Niagara Framework® based IP programmable controller with 34 IO with the addition of a built-in 900 MHz wireless transceiver and application for connectivity to Monnit sensors. This open, multi-purpose controller, the first-of-its-kind, combines the full features and functionality of Niagara 4 including internet connectivity, web serving capability, integrated control, data logging, alarming, analytics, and trending with the capability of a smart, Monnit connected sensor network through an on-board Monnit radio.

This release supports nine sensor types. They are:

JENEsys® PC8000 Controller

The JENEsys® PC8000 is a compact, embedded IP controller and server platform for connecting multiple and diverse devices and sub-systems. With Internet connectivity and Web-serving capability, the PC8000 Controller provides integrated control, supervision, data logging, alarming, scheduling, and network management. It streams data and rich graphical displays to a standard Web browser via an Ethernet or wireless LAN, or remotely over the Internet. The JENE-PC8000 controller operates with Niagara 4, the latest version of the Niagara Framework®, for optimum performance. In larger facilities, multi-building applications, and large-scale control system integrations, Niagara 4 Supervisors can be used with JENEsys PC8000 Controllers to aggregate information, including real-time data, history, and alarms, to create a single, unified application. The JENEsys PC8000 supports Niagara 4.

JENEsys® PC8000 IO R

IO R is part of Lynxspring’s portfolio of hardware, software, and tools designed for remote monitoring and control applications that enables end-to-end automation and device-to-enterprise integration. IO R allows the JENEsys PC8000 to interface directly with simple non-intelligent inputs and outputs remotely located up to 4,000 feet from the JENEsys PC8000. The connection is established via an industry-standard RS-485 multi-drop communications bus. Multiple IO R-16 and IO R-34 devices can be utilized on a single JENEsys PC8000, providing 250+ IO points on a single JENEsys PC8000.

The JENEsys® N4 Supervisor is a flexible network server used in applications where multiple Niagara4-based JENE-PC controllers are networked together. The JENEsys N4 Supervisor serves real-time graphical information displays to standard web-browser clients and also provides functions such as centralized data logging, archiving, alarming, master scheduling, system-wide database management, and integration with enterprise software applications.

JENEsys® ProBuilder for Niagara 4

JENEsys® ProBuilder software is a development and interface environment which is built around Niagara 4. A comprehensive toolset is a fundamental part of the framework. The JENEsys ProBuilder graphical toolset enables non-programmers to build applications in a drag-and-drop environment. By visually “wiring” Niagara 4 components together, developers build control strategies, alarms, data logging, archiving, and scheduling applications and displays and reports. Niagara 4 open APIs allow developers to create their own unique products, applications, plug-ins, data views, and business application logic.

JENEsys® Thermostats

JENEsys® Thermostats are application-specific, configurable thermostats with optional communication capabilities for BACnet MS/TP, LonWorks, or Wireless protocols. JENEsys Thermostats are compact, wall-mounted units that are used to control unitary equipment or for zone control, and include onboard temperature, optional humidity, and occupancy sensing.

Lynxspring Controls (BACnet®)

The Lynxspring Controls products are native BACnet® field devices consisting of programmable application-specific controllers. All Lynxspring Controls products are freely programmable, and a range of developed application-specific programs are available.

Lynxspring Controls (LonWorks)

The Lynxspring Controls product family consists of LonMark certified devices that offer state-of-the-art, direct digital control for HVAC and custom building automation applications. Based on the LonWorks protocol, these devices are designed for true peer-to-peer communication and provide an open, interoperable HVAC control solution.
