This course is designed as a day after exploration of Niagara Tool set and Project development for participants who have successfully completed the Niagara AX Certification course and would like to explore the complexities involved in engineering a real world job. Our instructor will offer the participant a real world view ,we offer suggestions and directions on best practices of how to successfully deploy a completed project in a real-world environment. Upon completion our participant should have obtained skills required to plan and deploy a project int he real world.
Maximum class size is 24students. Minimum required class size is 1 students. If 5 or more students are not registered at least two weeks prior to the scheduled training class, participants will be required to reschedule.
Students will be provided beverages (soda, coffee and water), and lunch each day.
Students are required to bring their own laptop computers.
Minimum PC requirements for Lynxspring Training:
- Operating System: Microsoft Windows 2000® or Windows XP Professional, Windows 2003 Server (if Microsoft IIS is disabled), Mozilla Firefox®, Internet Explorer® 5.0 or later, or Netscape Communicator® 4.5 or later.
- Memory: 1 GB minimum, 2GB recommended for large systems
- Hard Drive: 1 GB minimum, 5 GB for applications that need more archiving capacity
- Display: Video card and monitor capable of displaying 1024 x 768 pixel resolution or greater
- Processor: Intel Pentium® IV, 2 GHz or higher
- Network Support: Ethernet adapter (10/100 Mb with RJ-45 connector)
- Modem: 56 KB minimum, full time high speed ISP connection recommended for remote site access (i.e. T1, ADSL, cable modem)

This course guides the participant through the Niagara framework design. During the course we will explore how to design and deploy a station from the ground up. We will discover how to utilize drivers to connect to disparate network structures and use the information obtained in our projects. We will build and deploy graphical web pages through the use of our embedded graphical editor.

This course gives an end-user experience with the Niagara Framework without a certification exam. Participants will explore the software environment using tools that will allow them to troubleshoot issues and override points. During the course, the participant will alter a station?s control loops, and will create new loops and new graphical displays. The student will explore scheduling in different scenarios, as well as administration schemes wherein Niagara is running multiple embedded devices and acting as a single access point.
