Lynxspring’s E2E is an edge-to-enterprise building and facility solution seamlessly bringing together edge device-level connectivity, middleware integration, an interoperable framework, and Cloud-based data curation, tagging, exchange and storage. It serves as a pre-defined data acquisition, data curation, and visualization platform for use with standardized data sets and applications.

E2E connects JENEsys® and JENEsys Edge® branded controllers to Lynxspring’s Cloud service to the contractor/end user for a variety of solutions including inventory, alarms, version control, controller status and other configured data points. It also includes an IP protocol stack, an independent data layer (IDL) infrastructure, core building blocks, hardware, applications, connection options, Cloud Services based on an open protocol software operating system and is supported by a portfolio of secured, open, embedded hardware and gateways.

Delivering a robust ecosystem for edge computing capabilities, E2E offers capabilities via a single, portable control platform, and supports a variety of applications for all types of equipment and devices. It offers the flexibility of open-source access and open hardware with additional value adds like common APIs and development tools. Translating facility operational and equipment data into actionable information, E2E addresses key KPIs and delivers data-driven insights that help facility, operations and corporate management provide optimal workplace experiences, efficiencies, savings, and outcomes.

Combining the data from both operational technology (OT) and the workplace environment (WP), E2E provides users with the ability to choose to process and control data at the device-level, within the Cloud, or through a hybrid of both. E2E can also serve as a foundation for a Digital Twin. Additionally, we provide everything you need to deploy a connected facility enterprise including automation, command, control, data access, normalization and analytics, and facility management APIs and Cloud services.

Advantages and Benefits of Lynxspring’s E2E Services

E2E Data Connector: a pre-installed, embedded two-way communication connector available on JENEsys Edge® controllers allowing access from a standalone operating system (OS) to the Niagara Framework gathering data to be sent to the Cloud using the on-board client for communication (MQTT).

E2E Data Connector Service’s Analytics Available:

  • Controller Status
  • Basic Health Monitoring
  • Basic Web UI View
  • Account View
  • Inventory
  • Pre-Determined KPIs Using Points Identified with Niagara E2E Service

BAS Analytics Available: pre-configured Niagara and controller data points identified by E2E’s Connector/Service and read by the MQTT client, allows transmission to the Cloud for easy monitoring of the health of the program logic and performance of the station:

  • Controller Status Notifications
  • Alarming, Alerts and Login Histories
  • Host ID
  • Last Restart (Time/Date)
  • Date of Service
  • SMA Period Remaining/Expiration
  • License Information
  • Meta Data (Customer, location, and purpose)
  • OS and Niagara LOG files for diagnostics

IP Controllers: a portfolio of programable controllers, edge devices, IAQ sensors, and gateways built on open platforms with REST APIs supporting multiple applications and protocols.

The Niagara Framework®: built on an open, middleware framework which is the Defacto standard in the building automation and integration industry.

Connexxion®: Cloud-based independent data layer solution for data collection curation, normalization, modeling, tagging, storage, API integration and management, enabling real-time operational, energy and facility information analytics.

Dashboard and UI: Leading visualization and Web Apps (Mobile and Enterprise)

E2E Ecosystem: Access to a portfolio of drivers and existing applications such as analytics, work order management, FDD, predictive/preventative maintenance, remote monitoring network monitoring, occupancy, and occupant experience apps.

E2E Cloud Service: an MQTT server for communication received from the E2E Connector on the JENEsys Edge controller. This service is a Connexxion-based infrastructure including the database manager, user account, management application, and a user interface (UI) including account details, product inventory and status.

Controller Cataloging: JENEsys Edge equipment logged in a single location for quick access to status, versions, and other details.

Controller Health & Diagnostics: Controller data pulled via the E2E Connector to the Cloud, allows access of meta data and OS log files for quick evaluation and diagnostics.

Alarming/Scheduling: Functionality is available under the user account’s web interface.

Professional Services

Lynxspring’s Professional Services team provides a portfolio of consulting services. Our team of Niagara-certified software developers, application engineers and project managers utilize a combination of proven tools, best practices, and expertise to support, collaborate effective use and management of products, optimize resources to gain maximum value and reduce time to deployment.

Professional Services has also developed an extensive library of rules and functions for the analytics platform. This library is available to all E2E customers to help implement their energy analytics, fault detection and diagnosis strategies. Analytics rules prewritten for common applications may be applied to any data source with consistent data points and name or tagging (i.e., Project Haystack) to view trends, discrepancies or other data for any application such as operational data, inventory, CMMS and IAQ or any other application.
