City Convention Center in Texas

A large city’s convention center, initially built in 1980, was retrofitted and upgraded with smart building technology.

Upon the recommendation of a major HVAC manufacturer whose existing systems were already in use, Lynxspring’s controllers were directed to be used to act as the gateway to communicate via the BACnet protocol.

Over 100 new custom lighting panels were successfully replaced and are now monitored, controlled, and managed by the convention center’s single facilities management system. With the development of a new driver added by Lynxspring to the device, it now acts as the gateway to communicate BACnet to the 100 lighting panels are now operated via a common dashboard.
